  Amazing experience when in today speaking to Daniel about wedding bands! He then also polished up my engagement ring and made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed and more. If anyone needs help with finding a ring or jewelry for any occasion I would definitely recommend going to see him!

  Holly firstly informed me of an option to have the watch sent away for repair to which I suggested a simple battery change to first rule out the battery as the cause (rather than paying out of pocket to be without my watch for some time during the holiday season). Easy enough...

  Nope. Holly declined firmly, and told me that I should take it somewhere else to have the battery changed, again out of pocket.

  Staff are nice to deal with. But when I went to have my engagement ring sized it was a nightmare. The first time it wasn't a good fit. So I brought it back. They decided it needed to have little "bumps" put inside since it was a top heavy ring. So again sent it away for a week and when it was returned no alterations were made. Same size. No bumps inside. So again I sent it away for another week. When it was returned a diamond was missing. I was livid at this point as I was engaged for a month and no one had seen my ring. They finally got it right the third try. But of course I like to bring it in every so often to have it cleaned and they have the option of cleaning in store or sending away for a more in depth clean. So the last time I brought it in I decided to send it away. It was returned to me with a missing diamond. AGAIN. it just blows my mind how this has happened twice. Theres no excuse for it. It should be looked over before even calling me. I have to bring my ring back In now to be resized and I'm rather nervous. Not only is it gone for a week but statistically speaking theres a good chance it will be returned to me without a diamond! If my fiance didn't spend so much money on the lifetime protection plan there's not a chance I would let them touch my ring. I would go somewhere else and pay to have it taken care of properly. There is no way in hell I will be buying my fiances wedding band from this place. Like I said my fiance had a good buying experience with the Staff and they have always been good with me but whoever does the sizing/cleaning of their customers rings needs a good talking to.

  I'm not so bothered by this, but I didn't particularly feel like having a repeat performance. So I took my watch today to the bower place location. I was greeted pleasantly by an associate of the store and after explaining my situation, taken to manager Holly.

  I had previously gone to Michael Hill in the Parkland Mall location for a battery change on my watch, as Michael Hill offered complimentary battery changes when I purchased the watch from them in 2010. Two weeks later, the watch is dead.
