This shop is excellent! I was looking for a specific Electra bike for my wife and they were the only ones that were able to source the right unit. DAN, especially, was Fantastic! He took a small deposit from me (travelling from Calgary) and had the bike ready for my wife when we arrived on Saturday afternoon. He even thought ahead to order a matching helmet for her. Nice work! He then proceeded to show us all of the accessories and bells/whistles that could go with the bike, but there was NO pressure to buy anything. We ended up leaving the store with the bike, helmet and matching valve stem caps. The experience was so good that we actually ended up going back the same day to buy helmets for the kids and 2 more bicycle bells. Dan's service and knowledge were exceptional. He didn't seem at all bothered by the kids touching everything in the store (sorry) and was extremely helpful with fitting my 2 girls with helmets. He even got them into small adult helmets so that they would last them a few extra years. Excellent! It's this level of customer service that is missing from major retail stores. Please ensure Dan gets some kudos for a job well done. He seems to enjoy his work and was great to talk to. WE are very thankful for his knowledge and recommendations. Thank you Dan! My only regret is not buying the Green Tiger Shark Helmet and tail gate pad that he recommended. Will be stopping in again for sure! Thanks again!

I am writing about the outstanding customer service my wife and I have received at Mud, Sweat and Gears in Red Deer. I believe I have had dealings with every employee at this location and I can say without a doubt, they are the most knowledgeable and customer oriented employees I have had the pleasure to deal with. From the moment I walk into the store, I am greeted and made to feel important, no matter how busy they are or how small my purchase may be. I have had both my wife’s bike as well as my own bike worked on by different staff members. Whether it was to add on a new part or some minor repair, the crew here has gone out of their way to get the job done, if not immediately, pretty darn quick! They have not hesitated to stop working on another project to add a new accessory on my bike so I could enjoy a ride that day. I have to admit that I was a little intimidated the first time I walked into the Red Deer Mud, Sweat and Gears store…I didn’t know there were so many styles and brands of bikes available. On top of that, I’m looking at young people who obviously are hard core mountain bike enthusiasts while I’m 55 years old and am a casual rider. My fears were quickly set at ease as I dealt with the staff members. My wife and I will only deal with this store when it comes to bikes and bike accessories in Red Deer.

Amazing service! I was going on a ski trip and, despite the holidays and the skis coming all the way from the factory, Karl arranged to have the skis in the shop in time for me to hit the slopes!
