    Incredibly friendly and attentive staff! I brought my glasses in (which I had purchased elsewhere) to get a replacement screw as mine had fallen out. I was prepared to pay for their time and for the screw but instead when I returned they just asked me to leave a donation in the charity box at reception. Not only had they replaced the screw they also tightened, cleaned and polished my glasses! I was sincerely surprised and blown away, you don't often experience that level of kindness and customer service anymore. 5/5 stars guys! Keep up the awesome service!

    I have been going to Iris for a number of years and have found the staff to be friendly and Dr. Julie to be very good.

    Forgot about my eye exam and went in to reschedule and was told I had to pay before I rebook because the optometrist wasted her time when I didn't show. Absolutely rude Dr too. Lost out on a family of 5 eye exams and glasses by not being accommodating. Took our business to Lens Crafters in the same mall. They were happy to help out and was told they get most of IRIS's customers do to this fact.

    My problem: When choosing options for my new lenses, the assistant had been very adamant that all the coatings I was choosing would still leave me seeing naturally. This proved to be false, and my new lenses give the world a decidedly dull and yellowish tinge, which I find acutely disturbing.

    I recently posted a comment in which I stated that when I had difficulty with lenses a few years ago, my concerns had not been addressed, with the result that when I again experienced difficulty with recent new lenses, I did not go to the store, but posted my dissatisfaction here instead.

    I pointed out that I was concerned about the information being given to others as well. It is one thing to choose yellowish vision in order to protect one's eyes, but quite another to choose clear vision and find it is actually yellow-ish. She assured me this would be dealt with so that clients would receive the right information in helping them to make choices.

    After having posted here, I received a phone call immediately and the assistant I spoke with was polite, listened to my concern and is ordering me new lenses without the coating that makes things yellowish.

    While it is true that this coating might be better for my eyes, it is also true that it negatively affects my sense of well being.

    I am very pleased to say here that Iris is ordering me a new set of lenses without the so-called "blue" coating and will refund me the cost of the coating.

    Je faisais affaire avec une lunetterie à Olds et la qualité des lunettes était mauvaise . Je me suis rendu chez iris à Red Deer non seulement je ai eu un service en français mais la qualité des lunettes et service après vente et consultation est supérieur à bien des endroits. Julie mon optometrist depuis 2 ans à surpasser mes attentes et ce même avec mes enfants et ma conjointe. Elle est entouré d'une belle équipe aussi.
